Default New to Forum, but not to boating

Hi all, great forum...I own a 2002 2400 SCR. I live in Discovery Bay, Ca. and have the boat on a hydro hoist in my own boat dock in the backyard.
I'm wanting to start taking the 2400 to various lakes in the area and was wondering what trailer I should be looking for? the LOA is 25'4", BEAM 8'6", Weight 5,000 lbs.
Any help would greatly be appreciated! Thank you...

Welcome aboard.

That 5000 lb weight is dry, you must add weight of fuel, water, gear, ...

A dual axel trailer with brakes is required. Your local trailer dealer has data sheets that will tell you what's required. Not sure if you are looking for a new or used one.

Thanks Mike...No local trailer dealers around. I would settle for a used or new one depending on availability...

You can try going to a trailer manufacture WEB page they may have a look up table but I am thinking around 8000 lb capacity is required. Their site should also have a search for the closet dealer to you.

Google boat trailers in you zip may help as well.
