Mercuary High 5 Prop
Hey Guys!
I currently own a 2007 Maxum SR3 4.3L MPI 220 HP. I mainly use the boat for Skiing and water sports but i occasionally do go decent distance with it. i have two props the 14x19P 4 blade that came with the boat and a 14x17P 4 blade that i ski with. the 17 pitch is good for skiing but i still want a little more hole shot (16P over revs the engine). people tell me to do two things get a 18P or 19P high 5 that will have good hole shot for skiing and still decent top speed for cruising (eliminating two props which would be nice) or they say if you really are skiing most days and want more torque get a 17P high 5.
does any one have this engine on a 19 foot boat that runs a high 5? what pitch do you have, what do you use the boat for and how do you liek it?
and i know if i mostley ski i should have bought a nautique but they dont hold up that well in Long island Sound!
