Default '95 1800 SR Bow Nav Light

I've been searching my documentation and the forum for the bulb type of the bow nav light. Anyone know? My boat is an hour away and I forgot to get the bad bulb out when I left last weekend. Thanks!

With so many different types out there I would not trust any info until you pluck that old. bulb out.

I keep a note book of parts. It really comes in handy on my 3000. Maybe someone will chime in soon...

Oh no! not another bulb question. Sorry last guy I tried to help just couldn't figure out how to remove the bulb even after several of us told him. I agree with Roger best best is to pull the bulb. Hopefully you can find one near your marina.

mmwjr - I found those old posts.

I'm hoping someone has jotted it down, but if all else fails, there is a WalMart a half an hour from our marina. Thanks guys.

It's been a while since I had mine out. Will try to remember to check for you. Do you know how to remove fixture to get to bulb? I think it was a standard auto type bulb type 194, but not certain at all...

This is the first time I've had to replace it, but I think there are screws holding the housing.

A picture showing what yours looks like would help, but most likely 2 screws holding it to the boat once removed turn it over and 2 more screws to access the bulb. Take some pictures and post them to help others

I will see what I can do over the weekend in looking into this on my 1750. I know that there are two screws through the crome part of the light housing, can't remember if the bulb socket is then screwed in or twist or what. Had mine apart last year to clean and polish. Took an old tired looking unit back to near new, with the exception of very minor pitting in the chrome itself.
