Question 2100 SC3 cushion replacement

Looking for some help please - I have a 2100sc3 (2008) and need to replace the cushion on the stern locker - I have a new cushion but it has no fixings on it and I was wondering how does this attach to the lid top. (long story but my boat did not have a cushion when delivered.....bought it from Marinemax need I say any more) Does the standard cushion have a base or special fixing or is it just glued into place (surely not?) Thanks!

According to the 2008 parts catalog for a 2100SC, here's the description of the cushion: 1820453 CUSH, 2100SC-07 TRUNK LID

If it is anything like the one on my 2004 2400 SC3, it should have a rigid base and there should be some studs that are mounted in the base, before the foam and vinyl are attached, that then fit through corresponding holes drilled into the flat of the trunk lid, held on with washers and nuts from the under side of the lid.

Check the part number above against what you have. Does your trunk lid have holes drilled in it?

Dan

The cushion I have been sent is only the foam and vinyl with not studs or mounts - The trunk kid does have holes drilled in it though.?????????
