Hello. I just inherited a 1990 2100 ldc. the boat is like new the owner took the engine out to have rebuilt. but passed away. before reinstalling it. i bought boat for 200.00 at estate sale boat and trailer are like new. Has anyone done a motor swap/and/or engine and lower drive swap. this was an i/o boat. no one knows where the original motor is. any help would be great!! THANKS
Yep have repowered a few boats. Do you know what engine was in the boat? 4.3, 5.5, 5.7? Do you have the accessories? Power steering pump, alternator, starter, wiring harness,....?
Depending on your answers will determine my recommendation on how to proceed.
