What is this knob

What is this knob on the dash for? It flashes blue or red but does nothing else. Looks like volume or something. Like an old radio knob. This is on a 3100SCR.

That installed by a previous owner and I’m not sure what it’s for. It’s missing the knob. So it doesn’t seem to control anything? Can you trace the wires from it to see where they go?

Does the boat have a spot light?

It looks to be original. Found it in owners manual. Says it’s accessory lighting. But, it does not adjust anything g.

I have a 2004 3100se and do not have that knob. Maybe owner installed to control lighting Or radio volume?

I too have a 2004 3100SE but afraid no similar knob - sorry not to be of more assistance.

The picture is too far away to be useful. It looks like there are symbols for a 'dial selector'. That doesn't look OEM. You found it in the MAXUM Manual? Or you found a manual in a pile of manuals?

The Maxum owners manual doesn't details features like that.

Does it have a spotlight on the bow or wiring up there u can not explain?

Have the same on my 2002 33ft Maxum. It is for the Bow spotlight. Maybe removed from previous owner

Actually the original bow spot light controls are still there they are to the left of this strange knob.
