Prop size

My 1992 2300 SCR with 4.3 LX and Alpha One has 14.5 x 18 prop. Anyone know if this is size prop boat was originally equipped with?

What is the WOT with this prop? If it's around 4600 you are golden.

Try using mercruisers prop calculator to see what it recommends.

Guess you figured out I do not know what can with the boat.

Thanks. Can get above 5000rpm. That's what's making me question prop size.

Why would you want to max rpm is 4800 for WOT for this engine in marine use and should only be operated there for short periods.

Go to the Documents tab of this site them mercruiser manuals then find the one for you engine to get its specs.
