Default OPOS Update

Past couple of weeks been busy. Installed marine battery and started wiring the lights, stereo, bilge pump, horn and part of ignition switch for the volt gauge and kill switch. I googled and you-tubed a lot over the past weeks and have come to the conclusion that what you need is probably not online. Not much info about wiring from scratch. I am happy with the way it turned out. installed some LED switches for the lights. Installed some more carpet and made a few more trim cushion pieces for my wife (or me) to cover. I think the MAXUM letters came out great. The boat seats from Overton's came in and in the process of dry fitting and adding the side storage area on each side of the seats. NOTE: the original seats would lounge from the center both ways to lay flat, these seats only lounge from one side, so they will not lay flat in this boat due to length constraints of back seating area.

Default OPOS Update

Got carpet installed, ski locker cut and in and seats installed. All extra seat backs and side trim are cut and fitted. Ordering the vinyl and cushions and going to get started on those. The rest of the vinyl pin stripe is in and will get those on this weekend.

She's come along way, do you have a motor ready to hang on the transom?

Another life stoppage. Anyway. Got the pin stripping on and finally ordered the vinyl from Overton's that matched the seats. Here is the first attempt at the trim. Wife did the sewing and I installed it. Not bad I think.

Got the vinyl trim pieces done and installed. Used T-Nuts on the back side of the trim, threaded a bolt through and made a matching hole in the gunwale and used a wing nut to attach the trim to the side, making for easy removal when needed. Getting ready to start on the cushions next. Back to order more vinyl and foam.
