Default No more carpet!

Finally after a long wait I got my seadek installed ,no more carpet ,(not that it was no good ,it was fairly new and in good shape) but got tired of cleaning drink spills , ,also did engineered hardwood in the lower berth

I think you have to have 5 posts before you can upload. You hit 5th post last night so you can probably upload now. Go to "Advanced" to upload directly to site.

Great job and looks fantastic. Few questions if you don't mind.
1. Did you glue the hardwood down?
2. Did you put a new sub layer of marine grade plywood under the hardwood or was the original in good shape?
3. It looks great at the edges near the carpet. How did you manage that great look?

Took up carpet and old hardwood section including sub floor ,scraped off all glue and glued tounge and groove edges with with marine wood glue and silicone down each piece ,

Did you do all that work yourself is looks great and the back door don't hit the seat LOL that nice too

Yes did all myself ,best thing I did to boat was rear door ,stays closed all the time (except 7 ft seas) ,no more knee k locking for passengers
