Default Helm Seat change 3200scr

Has anyone tried to change their helm seat to something more comfortable with a booster? Do I have to rip down the mid-cabin ceiling?

This was my solution to not having a bolster … bought 2 throwable cushions. Much easier than replacing the seat lol …

As a bonus they count as the throwable requirement. IMO these are the best out there because they are vinyl coated so there is no exposed foam to get wet or fabric to get moldy. Mine are 6 yrs old and still look new.

We had a user named Bella Serra, he is no longer active on the forum. He had fabricated a scissor jack for the helm seat.

Yes, you'll need to remove the ceiling liner in the mid cabin. If you feel around, you'll find it is screwed in. All the panels are screwed in and removable. I used ss cup washers when I reinstalled. The carpet is a nightmare to rescrew.
