Default Flexiteek Maxum 2900 scr

Hi,

I want the boat to get a little more exclusive look and I found ‘Flexiteek’, I asked a couple of suppliers if they peace’s/drawing ready for Maxum 2900 SCR but i havent found a supplier yet

Does anybody know a supplier of flexiteek that could provide fitted peace’s for Maxum 2900 SCR year 2002 so I don’t need to make new measurements.

Thanks!

I think what most of them do is send you a template kit. You fill that out then they send you your pieces.

I have heard about a ’perfect fitted pussle’ for most of the models, just haven’t found them yet...

I had some fitted years ago to the cabin of 35 and had to supply a template and then they cut it to size. Good stuff hard wearing a bit of weight in it though.

As far as I know most require you to make a pattern but they provide the kit to do so.

Mine was installed many years ago I think the product was fairly new to the market. This was in Australia. We had to make our own templates using cardboard or large sheets of paper and from memory back then the stuff was cut to pattern in Europe so there was a long delay getting the sheets back. I imagine things have changed a lot over the years and if they supply a kit thats excellent.

Im about to take ownership of 2001 2900 SCR. Andxwas looking to do the transom seating and galley floor.

I found this company but have not pursued yet
SeaDek Marine Products - Swim Platform Pads

Also search amazon.com for “faux teak” for a DIY type solution with sheets.

Make sure you understand the materials that are being used by these various faux teak decking companies.

Seadeak is a closed cell EVA/PE foam. I think Flexiteak is a completely different material with different pro's/cons. Also different installation methods.
