Default Catch & release for trailer...

Just come across the product called "Drotto catch & release".

Saw the video on youtube and seem like an excellent idea when I want to go solo launch & recover.

Anyone have this contraption and any feedbacks?

I've head theft might be an issue, due to installation is a bolt on...Don't know why you can't have it welded on instead.

Once mounted, there is no swivel or movement that I can see from the videos.

Thanks.

It seems that it requires that you power-load the boat onto the trailer. While it might be 'common practice' in some places, it is also frowned upon in many places. Power-loading causes erosion to the ramp. IT can create a hole or a drop off at the end of a pad and a hump further out away from the ramp.
