Smile Cabela's Collapsable fishing net storage

As we move into fishing mode on our 2001 2900 SCR, I'm looking everywhere onboard for the storage of fishing gear. I purchased a collapsable fishing net from Cabela's and decided to create a unique storage area for it. I cut a 16" portion of a 36", $3 steel tube from Home Depot designed for a dryer vent, 3" in diamter... then dipped both ends in Plasti-Coat so the edges don't snag the net and tear it when it slides in and out. I mounted the tube with 3" hoseclamps, bolted to the inside of a compartment door in the salon area (see photos). All total, everything cost less than $10.

Not a real big project, but since storage is such a premium on Endless Summer I'm happy I "found" a new spot to mount this tube to hold the fishing net.
