Default Boat ski compartment floor rotting

I have a 1994 Maxim 2300 sr2. I noticed today the ski compartment floor is wet and soft. Can anyone tell me how to replace compartment floor and if this is a safety concern? The rest of the boat floor is solid.
Thanks

It’s the floor of the ski compartment where the ski’s set on when stored. This is lower then the boat floor but not the bottom of the boat. The gel coating is cracked and you can see wet plywood.
Thanks

So the ski locker is gel coated and not carpet?

Either way the rotten plywood need to be cut out and replaced then re covered, fiberglassed. There should be a drain to allow water to exit.

Ok. I got it. It's not a safety concern. But, need to be fix or, will have more damage.
