It took hours of digging with a chisel until I finally got all the rotten wood out. Luckly the boat was stored pointed nose up so all the rot was in the back.
I'm sure I did this all wrong, but all the wood is encapsulated in West epoxy resin and 1708. I used the existing structure where I could. I used 3/4" marine grade ply.
Well not the most professional job but should do the trick for many years. Next time check out the bayliner site as looks of folks have done some really bang up work with great documentation.
