Default 1991 2700 scr windshield frame

Just picked up a 91 2700 scr and will need a starboard side upper windshield frame. looks like it might be hard to find. I will try to straighten it. Any leads on where to find one. Thanks.

First welcome to the website......second your windshield probably was made by a company named "Taylor Made ". Google their website and should get some info on how to proceed. You might what to look at some of the threads because this has come up before.

Good luck

Thanks. I contacted Taylormade and here is the response.
"Thank you for your inquiry. Taylor Made Systems is an Original Equipment Manufacturer with a seven year obsolescence period. Unfortunately, the original windshield equipment glass and frames are obsolete and no longer available."
I kinda figured that, maybe this is why I got it for such a deal. I can straighten it in a press and half day of time. It won't be perfect but will work to hold the glass and function. I will machine some support struts and have a local glass company do the tempered glass. That is one good thing about flat glass windshields. I can live with it for the price I paid for it.

The only idea left is to hunt for boat junk yards that might have all this.

Again ....good luck

Being flat glass the local shop may be able to provide some channel that will work for the frame.
