whatever color it is it will be difficult to find and impossible to match. Replace it all or come as close as possible. This is not a normal wear item and rarely replaced. This stuff would not be stocked 26 years later.

I have redone several boats to include new floors and new carpet, I went to a carpet outlet shop we have locally and good premium marine grade carpet at drastically reduced price over what a marine shop was asking. Ordered boat carpet glue from ebay.
Cut the carpet a little over size then trim down to exact fit as you are installing. The hardest part is getting the old carpet out and getting the floor smooth before installing new carpet.
You could go with a gray be it a light or dark. It will give it a more modern look than the red.. IMO
