Veterans day

I know this forum is international...but today is a two fold day for us in the US...
Today in 1918 ..Armistess day ...WW1 was ended and the Germans signed the surrrender to end the war

and today is Veterans day ...for me ...I have a 4 generation family that served in the military...My Grandfather fought in WW1..my real dad was in WW2/Korea, my step dad ( the guy who raised me) served in WW2/Korea/Vietnam....I joined the AF in 70 for 6 yrs ...then went on the Design electrical systems and waveguides in nuclear attack submarines and surface combat ships for 17 yrs....my nephew was Army Ranger special forces and got the Bronze star and 3 purple hearts for missions abroad including samolia( id black hawk down...he was one of the SF's that went in after the down helo team).....
now we have my great nephew seriously concidering the AF academy....

so...to all our vets and servicemen ....Have a Great Veterans day....
if you see a vet...shake their hand and say thanks....
