well...about a month ago we lost our baby girl (Tasha)to cancer about ....the house has been quiet and everyone has been all mopy and all......the house just wasn't the same without a yappy little girl to greet us.......
so I marsha decided we needed another baby girl to raise.........off she goes doing research on the web with the local breeders.....she found several but the times weren't right as they were either pregnant now and expecting in spring or summer, or.....there just weren't that many available....
well ..this morning we got up early and went to the local AKC show in seattle and watched the shelties perform and talked with alot of the breeders and all..we met up with puget mike and his wife Virginia(friends of ours)...watched some of the dogs.....one lady had several but they were all at home.....another had brought one but wasn't sure we were right for her pup.....well...we managed to convince her that we were worthy and even had a relative of her pup......(small world)........that was all it took and we had the pup..............
so...without further delay....meet our new baby girl .....she's 9weeks old as of this week and only weighs in at 5lbs....she seems teeny compared to the horse we have now named kodi......
marsha took one look at her while I was holding her at the show and you could hear her heart melt.....the little girl was licking me on the nose and that's all it took......we have come up with a name now ...her name is misty....
here's the pic of the family......
