I'm with you Jeff.......always fun to watch but was is the point. That is alot of jet fuel $$$$$$$$$ being burnt up....

in the F111 the fuel dump nozzle is right between the engines....the trick the aussies used to do for airshows is called the dump and burn....open the fuel dump..hit the Afterburners and watch the fire ......impressive at airshows...not good tactically.......but definitely a show stopper......
