Default finally getting light after 530pm!

It's hard way up here in the northern woods in winter, the dark really gets to me. Getting my 3200scr ready yesterday for the season upcoming, and noticed for the 1st time in 2023, light after 530pm!

Thick cloud cover here today and at 4:51pm still some light! Had a rare skiff of snow this morning, ugh. Next clear patch of weather, think I'll go to Princess Louisa Inlet (abt 3hrs at 26 kts from Nanaimo, before the crowds do.

I couldn't believe how many boats were in the water for February. I had to look at the weather data. I had no idea BC was so warm compared to the Northeast.
