Default Boating 101

....... I got my July/August edition of Boating today and while thumbing through the pages I come to page 54 on are article named "How to avoid mooring mayhem!" Turn another page and in big print is

rule #1.... Never approach the dock faster than you are willing to hit it. (Gee, I have heard that somewhere)

rule #2....There is room for only one captain on your vessel. ( I asked the admiral if that was ok with her and she said I could be the captain. I said thanks hon bun.)

rules #3-10..... See rules 1 and 2, when in doubt, refer to rule #2 ( say to yourself , I am the captain repeat and say again. click your heals if you like)

In conclusion: There is one person solely resposible for your vessel and crew safety: YOU. So act like it! Put your big britches and start ordering the crew around

I hope this helps everyone become a better captain.......

Roger

just remember....
1) never approach the dock faster than your willing to crash into it...(I think I said that...)

2)you may be the capt...but the admiral has the last word!!!...

3-9)yeah yeah and yeah...

10)got it right about this one...your the master of the vessel...anything goes wrong...you get the blame...it solely falls on your shoulders to get people to safety.....

11)if the admirable ain't happy...tain't nobody going to be happy!!!...(ask me how I know).....
