Almost....
We almost got the Bigger Sea Gar into the water this afternoon. We have had some lightning with the rain in our illinois weather pattern this afternoon, well as our boat was being lifted from dry dock to the water a very big bolt of lightning went off and the lift operator felt a little tingle. No direct hit or anything but .....so we scheduled for tomorrow morning.
I have to drive the boat to another marina which is about a 15 minute drive for us.
Try again in the morning.
Roger

That's to close for comfort.
Got my boat ready to use but have been busy replacing dead shurbs for th harsh winter. Anyhow the wind has been blowing and the temps are ~10 degrees lower than normal so I want to get the outside honey do's done befor ethe weather breaks.

I was planning on bottom painting and launching next weekend. It rained. I finished some other projects and will have to paint next weekend instead. I've only had a handful of days where it's been warm enough to paint, but few come on the weekends. I should be in in 2 weeks, hopefully.

The weather here does look crappy at least through Wed. I went and retrieved our boat from the marina yesterday since it was a pretty day but won't get to fuss with it until net weekend it seems.

Everything went fine. My 15 minute trip to our new marina went well. The boat is in it's new slip, all tied down, nice and neat.
Now if I can get over this cold...cough cough, hack hack.

Roger as you like to say it didn't happen unless you have a picture to back it up.
And please turn the other way when you cough

That does look like a looooong way down, Roger.
Our marina has a storage lot located up on a hill in which they block some pretty good size boats for the winter. I've watched the staff go fetch some of those boats with the travel lift. Watching the whole rig, lift and boat in slings, coming down the hill - thankfully it's paved, is a little unsettling. But the drop into the water isn't even close to what yours is.
Dan
