Default Wanted: Top windhield frame 2003 1900 SR2

Hello ! My windshield frame has beem scratched and gouged by the bimini poles and I'm looking to replace them. Would this windshield fit any other application ? Would prefer only the top frame rail...shipping is expensive. Can any one help ? Thanks in advance, Brad

Have you contacted your Sea Ray or Bayliner dealer? They can contact Taylor Made who made your windshield for the replacement rail. Beware I replaced the 20" top header piece of my center window (opening) and it was $200.

I'm talking with a guy from Michigan @ Wilson Marine. Steve has been very helpful but hasn't been able to nail it down so far. So I thought I would as the Maxum community if any one out their might have one or know of some one that might be able to help. Anyone know if there is a cross over for this ? I just love my Maxum and looking at these scratched pieces drives me CRAZY !! Click image for larger version

It's hard to see the scratches in that pic. The piece I believe is anodized too so if you try to take a DA to it you would be exposing the bare aluminum. You could try a 3M (green) pad (same as on a sponge) with some WD-40 and try to clean up the scratches. Any gouges wouldn't be helped.
