Selling my
MAXUM 1800 SR3
It's going on Network Yacht Brokerage next week, thought I'd mention it here as many know the boat, if anybody looking for a new boat or knows someone who is ... Full details at foot of this mail
The
1800SR3 is a very handy sized water-sports boat, it is wider than many 18' boats .. and internal layout makes it feel like a 23'
The large bathing platform makes a big difference for getting in and out - would never have another boat without one.
Those who know me, will know that I am very fussy about looking after my boat ... full engine flush with X-salt after every use, full wash down of boat, and polished with Marine collinite polish several times a year.
The boat is optimised for water-sports ... has a stylish and very functional
Roswell Tower professionally fitted, I spent ages with WakeBoard Towers UK (well known here ) to make sure the Tower complimented the boat ... especially with following rake of the screen ....
It has a Stainless Steel
High Five prop, this is to give maximum holeshot, but even with this you still get 47mph at 4800rpm. Will pass 50mph with standard prop.
Fitted retractable
Smart Tabs .... these were the single biggest change to this boat .... it made a HUGE difference to handling, no bow rise, faster planning time, maintain plane at lower speed, keeps boat on even keel in cross current .... really do what they say they will do.
Trailer has hubflush installed so brakes & drums washed with x-salt after every use, also has bearing buddies fitted.
