Are you really sure you want to do that? Why do you want to get rid of it?

It's a valuable asset to have on a boat.

I never need a generator. It's just a lot of weight in the back. It also takes up the whole engine compartment. I can't get to anything in the engine compartment

Your call but for what someone will be willing to pay vs what it will take to remove and address the old connections (fuel, exhaust, wiring) you will be lucky to break even IMO.

Marson welcome aboard.

Look up the Maxum data sheet on the home page for your boat to see what size genny was offered with it to get an idea on what size will fit.

How often do you plan yo use it vs the cost of installing it. You will not just need the genny but a tru hull fitting, sea clock, strainer, and exhaust muffler and thru hull.

Not sure what the OP wants for it and do not forget shipping.

Roger I this a good start ? I hear you but all we can do is make sure they have some idea as to what they are getting into.

I know Mike... I would only hope that one realizes he is throwing value of his boat out the window cause he wants to get rid of it and the other realizes if you want one, buy a portable or a boat that has one, IMHO :-)

I could be wrong........

We are here to help.
