I recently bought a Garmin 740S chartplotter package that included the GMR 18HD Radar. I installed the 740S, but decided I don't need the Radar. So it's brand new, never touched, still in the box. Cables are still shrink-wrapped.
The GMR 18HD is a 4 kilowatt "high definition" radar that uses DSP (digital signal processing) to improve performance. It has a 5 degree beamwidth, and offers MARPA tracking. More details available at the link below.
