Default Winterizing

I have a mercruiser with alpha one outdrive. I know how to winterize everything except I have one question. Is there anything that needs to be done with the outdrive? Does it hold any water?

Well, it doesn't really hold any water but it does pull the raw water up to the block via the empeller. not sure how much if any water is left in the leg after you pull it out of the water. Plus, if you winterize the block using the muffs or whater contraption you have, you should be okay. But you really should drain the gear oil in the leg and replace with fresh gear oil just in case you have water getting into it due to a bad seal. doesn't take much water to freeze and muck something up inside there.

just my two cents..
