Default water leak through foredeck skylights

We have noticed recently that when we wash down the boat, we can see that there is some leakage through the skylight windows (foredeck portholes). We have not seen this happen during rain storms, and I am wondering if it is how we we are washing the deck down which is causing it.

Separately, I wonder if the seals need to be replaced, if so, any guidance is appreciated.

Yep sounds like time to have the seals replaced. Most likely it the angle of the water stream. rain falls straight down for the most part. hoses not so much.

Thanks! It's a 2001, so not a surprise. Good thought on the direction of the hose versus the rain. Again, thanks

We had same issue, good luck finding replacement seals, we could not for our 4100 so we decided to remove them carefully, scrape off the old silicone and apply new silicone, problem solved.

I solved a leaking porthole in my 2900 by tightening the screws a bit on the closure tabs to compress the seal and applying a small amount of Vaseline to the seals. That might be worth trying. Once the water seeps in between the glass and seals it keeps wicking more through. Just a little grease kept that from starting and it’s been been dry for a few seasons.
