Default Water in Gas tank compartment

After rain or wash downs I keep getting qater in the compartment which houses the gas tank on my 2300 SR It seems like there should be a drain hole or something but this does not drain I've been able to get some out using a siphon.

Anyone else run into this..any suggestions?

your limber holes should be clear under the tank...go into the engine bay and take a wire coathanger that's stretched out...force it into the hole and see if it's clear...
now you need to find where the water is coming from.....chances are it's the rub rail...

ps..welcome to the zoo!
