Special Lubricant 101

Hi All,

Going through maintenance procedure and mercruiser manual they recommend using special lubricant 101. Doesn't look like the product is available. Does anybody know where I could get it or if I could substitute it with something else. Thanks in advance.

So I don't recall this lubricant, what is it for? Hard to give a substitute without know what you are trying to lube :-)

Its recommended to use it for steering cable and parts of steering system. Please have a look at the manual page 22:

Its called 101 grease or triple guard.Check with your mercury dealer.

Got it. Quicksilver 2-4-C can also be used.
