Default shrink wrap in summer ?

Instead of launching the boat this year , I will need to store it on land for the summer . The boat has been shrink wrapped from the winter , is still in great shape . Will leaving it on , cause any problems ?

absolutely not as long as the systems and engine has been winterized..you could actually store it for yrs like that.....make sure the batt's are out though...

Bummer, Keith.

If the shrink wrap was installed without vents you might want to consider adding some to allow the warm, moist, summer air to escape. Additionally, if you can get into the boat, you might consider placing some moisture absorbing containers - like these, http://www.overtons.com/modperl/prod...=FROOGLE_26666 in the cabin. I placed two of them in mine at winterization and they collected about 2 quarts of water from Nov to - well, yesterday. No mold, mildew, or smell in the cabin at all.

Thanks , moisture cans were placed in the boat ( 2 ) for the winter . I will make sure the marina adds vents and or a zipper to get into the boat . Sucks not being able to use it this season , but the family comes first . Things should pick up over the next year....
