Default rouge sea cock

in the forward bilge of my 2800csr there is a sea cock not attacted to anything.

its like i could skuddle the boat if i was boarded my allied forces after my german encription devise, signed my Karl dontez.

I think its from a sea water toilet, but my vaccum flush uses fresh water.

maybe the former owner used it to let the bilge water get out when winterising (making it ready fot the winter) it.....wit my 2400sc3 i have the same problem.....when i empty the motor from it's water coming out of the motor, its not all getting out at the back, and on the trailer i cant lift it high enough to let all the water go out, so there is allways water in the front of my boat during the winter......

is this something thats acceptable for you or..........it's just an suggestion,

greats ed

if it's a hull valve with nothing attached..then I'd do one of 2 things...I'd remove the valve and have the holes reglassed back in and gelcoat applied to the outside...would only cost a couple hundred bucks US....

or...safety wire or tie wrap the valve handle closed so that there is no possible way they can be turned by a crazy or wayward kid ...angry exwife....or ticked off girlfriend...

reglassing it in is the way to go..
one less thing that can fail and let water into the people tank...
