Removal of Windshield Wiper Arm?

1998 SCR 2400. I cannot seem to remove the wiper arm so that I can refinish it. There is a threaded piece coming through another piece at the top, but it appears to be rotted solidly on to the threaded bolt. I don't want to break anything. Any have this problem before? thanks.

You need a windshield wiper pulley. Pops right off.

Dd this earlier this year on my 1997 2400SCR. I used a battery terminal puller. I also sprayed the joint with a little PB blaster.
Remove nuts off of both arms and spray. Let sit for a few minutes then use the puller. It took a few trys as the center of the puller slipped off the post of the motor a few times. Upon reassembly I used some never seize on the joints.

It looks like the arm should turn to line up with the flats sides of the bolt, then be pulled out. Is this true? If I pull it straight off won't I destroy the threads and the arm hole?

Is there supposed to be a nut on top of the arm to keep it in place? mine have nothing after above the arm, no washer, nut, or cap?

Mine has the flat spots inthe arms hole but I just pulled it straingt up no issues. Also Mine has a washer and crown nuts

Could someone post a picture of their wiper blade and arm. My '95 2400scr is missing the wiper and I'm trying to find the right style to replace it with. Would like to get it as close to original as possible

Not the best angle for what you need but it's the best picture I currently have. Can get better shot but not for a couple of weeks.
