Default Normal Voltage for running Boat?

I have a 1750 SR. I am wondering if my battery is getting weak. I noticed the voltage reading near 14 when the boat is in motion. Is this normal? I was wondering if the alternator is overcharging to compensate for a weak battery?

welcome to the zoo....nope..the alt..should put out about 14.5 vdc.....that's normal.....
