Default Need 2 Fill Transmission Fluid

there is a box/bottle in the engine compartment this is below the acceptable fill level.
it says to add transmission fluid , but there isnt any openings that I can see to add fluid.

directions on the ( box/bottle or monitor) say to remove top and the some type of plug if I remember correctly and the add fluid. could this be on my alpha one drives? I have twin 4.3 engines with alpha one's

with alpha 1 drives....you should have a bottle on the port side of the engine...that is where you fill the bottle up with drive oil..it's a nasty smelling emerald green oil.....it's the black cap you remove and add the oil....

however if your starting from scratch...there are 2 plugs on the drive on the port side of the drive...one on the bottom of the bullet...and one on the top same side...removing the one on top provides an air vent....the bottom is where you pump the oil till it drips out the top hole...after that...you put the plug in the top hole..then pump a few more times..done....

lastly...run the drive in the water for a bit ...then check the oil...add as needed....

Sounds to me like you are looking at the resevoir for the Bennett Trim Tabs. If that is the case, remove the plastic cover and you will find the rubber plug in one corner. I did a search on the internet for Bennett Trim Tabs and found the owners manual from Bennett including drawings. Hope that helps.
