Default Microwave Oven removal - 3300 SCR

I need to replace the microwave on the boat, a Maxum 3300 SCR. It won't just lift out. Looks like the countertop was installed after the microwave and is holding it in place. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks! That means I have to take the refrigerator out to get to them! Thanks again for the help!

What year is the boat?

The OP wasn't really clear with what the problem was. If it's on the counter, it should be affixed from below. You'll need to either remove the fridge or a few drawers depending on whichever gives you the easiest access. You should find the fasteners going up through the counter.

If it's suspended from underneath the cabinet, you should be able to drop the microwave by removing the fasteners from the upper cabinet. Some had a box suspended from the cabinet that required the entire mount had to be removed.

That was a 6 month pause in a conversation. That has got to be a record.

I would pull the fridge and look for machine screws going through the cabinet into the bottom of the microwave. I believe there is only 2.

Year beyond - I'll revive this one. Any idea how to get the microwave out? It's a tiny microwave - on my 2001 3300 SCR, I was playing around with how it's seated. There is a 1/2 inch square piece of wood trim above it that was silicon-ed in place - I pushed it, and it came loose and slid backwards. I pushed it deeper back with a long screwdriver, and then was able to tip up the front of the microwave. The counter ends at the face of the microwave, so it's feet site like 3/4s of an inch lower than the cab, so I figured maybe the wood trim piece above locked it down. But, nope. There is something towards the back/bottom that seems to hold it in place. I seriously investigated - there are no other screws or anything on any other sides or in the cabinets that would be holding it in. But I really don't want to remove my fridge for this. I could actually see under the MW, and oddly I didn't see any screw attachments. I was going to take a long hacksaw blade and just cut through them if so, then find a different way to secure a new MW. Just can't figure this one out. Anyone???

Did you ever figure out how to get your microwave out? We have the same issue. There is a cabinet next to the space for the microwave in our 3200. There appears to be a removable panel between the 2 spaces that appears to be removable. I'm hoping that being able to see the microwave from the side may help understand how to remove it, but it does not appear as though it can fit through the front.
