my 2008 maxum 2900se has a mercathode system installed from factory, from what i can understand it is powered by dc , is there any need to also have a galvanic corrision system installed at the shore power ac connection on my boat??

if it's connected the right way it should be working 24 hours round on 12 volt...google it there you get all the information you want......
