Maxum 2700 SCR year 2000 5.7 EFI service manual

Hi,
I am new to the Club and have many answers to questions on the forum - very good.
I have recently purchased a 2700 SCR fitted with a 5.7 L EFI and stern drive, and I am trying to find a service/workshop manual - especially for the engine, stern drive and steering etc.
I have searched extensively but haven’t found one that actually looks like my boat’s engine bay.
Can anyone help please?

Welcome aboard!

Mercruiser manuals can be found under Documents of this site. I’ve never seen a boat manual that shows much detail especially the engine compartment.

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve checked the manuals in the documents section and I see the owners manual (I have this - it came with the boat) but nothing in the service manual area that matches for the MerCruiser 5.7 EFI with stern drive.
If anyone can point me to the 5.7 EFI manual then that would be great.

#24 covers all 5.7 stuff you need. Not sure what drive you have but there is a manual for Alphas and one for Bravos. There is no such combined manual for engine and drive.

Hi Mike,
Yes #24 looks like the right one - I have been looking at it for a couple of weeks but the diagrams don’t show the same configuration as my engine - that’s what’s confusing me and made me think I was looking at the wrong manual - I guess not.
I’ll just have to work my way through and figure it out!

Yea #24 says up to 1999 so your 2000 may be somewhat different, not sure what the munger is but Mercruiser has other manuals for different years just don’t think we have it.
