Default Maxum 1800 mx c - CE certificate

So my boat has a ce boat plate - but where do i get a copy of the certificate ? I need it to import it into spain

Never heard this request before. There will not be a certificate for the boat. The CE plate signifies that the boat complies to the US industry standards.

I had done some digging around and it seemed that the placard IS the certificate from what I could tell. There is a CE certification process you can go through, though that sounds like it will cost some money. I took it that the certification process was only required if the boat, systems or engine were not CE certified, which I assume they all are. Everything I come across has "CE" marked on it.

You can also look at https://www.imci.org/
They have a searchable database of certifications for boats, components, etc..
