Default Helm switch panel

Hi, The 2700SCR (yr 2000) helm switch panel once had lettering, but has since faded away. Anyone ever had to replace or re-apply lettering? Is there a kit or do I need to buy a new panel? I would rather not to have to resort to brother p-touch. I did write down what each was before it completely faded away Thanks in advance.

I think you can get those press on letters from office max that might work...then there's the ole label makers approach....finally ...I know of a guy that does the lazer etching stuff and can make new dashes...
I'm not a fan of this gent but he does do good dashes when you can get him off his butt!...

his addy is here: www.aplusmobilegraphics.com

I know of one of our members that has a laser etcher machine and make things....hopefully he'll chime in and be able to help out...

Can you post or email a picture of the dash panel? I'll see what I can work up on my end for replacement lettering (that works and looks good as well)

my email is dave.maxwell@comcast.net

Hi John. The equipment I have is limited to about a minimum of 1/2-3/4" vinyl lettering (and of course, larger lettering). It won't cut as small as you need for the panel.

Aside from going to a custom graphics shop that can 'stencil screen' the lettering, try looking at the office supply places (Office Depot/Max) for the transferable (pressure release) lettering sheets. These are essentially 'paint' letters that are adhered to a clear vinyl sheet and you 'rub' the back to apply the lettering. Much cleaner than a lable maker.

Sorry for not being able to provide you the product.
