Default Hello from the new guy

HiYa everyone,
The weather has broken, in New York and I'm scraping the moss off the bottom end of me, the wife , and my mini Doxi.

I just purchased a mint 1994 maxum sr1800 and cant wait to use it, I have had boats before and now im back.

Too make a long in short im trying to get it ready to go and I have no manual on the boat or the motor and cant find the right specs for my new toy!

I need to, before I do anything is change this oil and check the out drives oils and levels and all other fluids but im at a loss, so can any one point me in the right direction were to get the proper info for this 4 cyl or can any one tell me what their using as far as oils, octane's and all that other happy horse ****!

ps im in highland and miss my coneyisland boat tie ups and partys so if there are any going on please let me know or look me up in highland and we can startone our darselfs

Welcome aboard

Go to Documents of this site to get the engine and drive manuals.

Engine oil is Merc/Quicksilver 25W40. Drive is Merc/Quicksilver high performance lube.

89 Octane for the fuel.
