Default heard water leaking when FW Pump turned on

Just fyi, thought I had all the fresh water out of the boat for winter. Replaced my shower drain (thanks for the part tip in the chatroom!) and was going to do a water seal test on it, put some water in, turned on the pump and heard it spraying somewhere in the boat down into the bilge. Turns out it was behind the Ice Maker. The filter cracked!

Fortunately it was just the filter and not the plumbing.

Do you just drain, or do you backfill with propylene glycol?? I would do the latter, however we store the boat in New England where we get hard freezes in the winter.

Default cold front coming!

I had previously thought I had drained all the fresh water out, left the taps open, turned off the pump and have two heaters in the boat (opened all void space that I can). Tonight and tomorrow might get down to -5, going to make sure there's nothing in there anymore with an air pump.
