Default Garboard Fitting

I have to replace the entire garboard fitting as the removable plug will not come out. I've tried all the short cuts to remove but it's a no go. Previous owner probably never took it out.
Any suggestions or advice on replacing it? Seems like a fairly easy DIY, just three screws and some sealant. I hope.
Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem with a boat i used to own, as they are brass i drilled a hole in it and carefully cut it into 3 pieces with a jigsaw being really careful not to damage the threads on the boat, was not too difficult.

As an update, turns out mine had a nut on the inside of the hull on one of the screws that attached a bonding wire to the garboard fitting. I failed to see it at first because it was hidden by bilge pump hose.
