Default Engine Hatch Lift Cylinder Replacement

Has anyone done one?

I'm looking to replace the Hydraulic cylinder that lifts the engine hatch (https://www.boatersmarinesupply.com/...nder-only.html)

Mine is linked to a Bennet trim tab hydraulic fluid reservior (filled with ATF) - its a 2008/9 SE2900.

Looks straightforward - but a lot of my projects start that way!

Anyone have experience to replace one of these and is it simply a matter of connecting the new cylinder to the hydraulic line?

Thanks.
