Default Cooker questions for UK boaters

Hi I'm a new Maxum 2300scr owner and tried using my 1 ring electric cooker in the marina yesterday. It heated up for a few minutes but then tripped out the electric at the pontoon box.
I tried it a couple of times and it kept doing it have any of you uk users had any problems?
I thought it might be down to the difference in the US and UK mains power?

It shouldn't, I have a 4600 and plug in and run oven, AC, hob to name but a few. Well over the recommendations for a 15 amp socket.

Do you have anything else plugged in? My Maxum was fitted with various transformers but the hob was always 240v. If it trips in isolation, I.e. Single burner hob I'd get it checked.

Thanks Ian I will, when I put the power back on I turned everything off apart from the hob incase it was drawing to much power but it still tripped.
Thanks for the quick reply btw
