Default Bravo 3 question

I'm going to pull the outdrive to inspect the bellows, grease shaft, inspect bearing, and replace the O rings where the drive meets the gimbal housing.

Question is. I'm surprised there isn't a gasket or something where the outdrive meets the gimbal housing.
I know there are individual O rings for for the shifter cable and water jacket etc. But what keeps water out of the area that the shaft goes into By the gimbal bearing?
Basically where the drive meets in the large bellow.
Thanks for any info!

Have you removed the drive? There should be a large somewhat rectangular O-ring for that.
