1999 2100SR Parts/overheating
I would like to go ahead and get parts/pricing info on manifolds, risers, thermostat, temp sender, etc., because my overheating alarm is going off (even though it only shows 175 when it happens). Where are you guys ordering mercruiser parts? I would also like to find a parts manual for my boat. Any ideas? I have the 5.0L, thats about all I know about the engine so far. Only had the boat about a month and I love it, but I would like to go ahead and get some stuff ordered to prevent any issues. Does anyone know at what temp the alarm should be going off? 175 seems pretty early (low) for an alarm. Makes me wonder if either I'm running hotter than the gauge is reading, or if my alarm sender is bad? Either way, I'd like to play it safe and order everything that I know I am eventually going to need anyway.
