Is there anyone that can tell me how to get a manual for my 1996 Maxum 2000SCL Manual 5.7 Mercruiser eng.

The Mercruiser manuals for the engine and drive are under Documents. There may be a generic boat manual but there’s not much in them especially for small boats.

You're looking for a Service Manual for the engine and a separate service manual for the outdrive. There is no Service Manual for the boat, per se.
