Default 1900 SR3 with stains on upholstery

My 2006 1900 SR3 (sport seating) has stains on the vinyl sunpad. I've tried everthing under the sun to try to remove the stains.
I love my boat but the upholstery looks horrible.
The local dealer says that Brunswick will not help.
Is the only alternative recovering?

CCM
welcome to the zoo...the best thing we've found assuming that the material is not totally dried up and brittle..is Mr. Clean magic eraser....it takes stuff off fiberglass and seats....it's pretty impressive..then go back and re-treat the vinyl with a good vinyl polish or pledge...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried the magic eraser and just about every product available.
I believe these stains are related to some sort of mold or fungus on the inside.

well..if the eraser didn't work..then there is some stuff that kills mold but it has to sit on it for a bit...one thing to do is to make a paste of bleach and scouring powder ...let it sit until dried...then carefully wash it all off....that might work....if not..go to your local boat supply shop and see what they recommend for mold imbedded into the vinyl...

hope this helps..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think your issues are much deeper (figuratively speaking). The stain you are seeing is the result of mold/mildew residing behind the vinyl and permeating through the fabric backing… all the scrubbing in the world isn’t going to fix this problem… I think you are going to have to have the vinyl and possibly the foam (also) replaced to actually solve this problem….

On a related note, I agree with the others, the Mr Clean Magic Erasers are a boaters best friend just be careful using them on dark colored vinyl…
